Up To Date Information For Our Parish:

  • Given the severity and concern of the COVID-19 virus, effective Monday, November 16 the Parish Office will once again be closed to all foot traffic. Both priests, the parish secretary and office personnel will still be available via phone or email. Parishioners are reminded that you may pay your tithe online, or by mailing your collection envelope to the parish office or put your envelope in the drop box, bolted to the rectory wall by the garage The office is still available by phone at 717-242-2781.
  • According to a recent directive received from the Diocese of Harrisburg, we will be continuing to prop the front doors of the church open prior to each mass to avoid repeated touching of the door handles, as well as continuing to open the windows and run the ceiling fans indefinitely, to provide proper ventilation during mass. We realize that the outside temperatures continue to drop, but we must adhere to these directives for the safety of all those coming to Mass despite the colder temperatures. Please dress accordingly for your comfort during Mass. As space is still limited, parishioners are reminded to arrive at least 15 minutes early for Mass. For your safety, the front and side doors will be locked when Mass begins.
  • Today and effective immediately until further notice, Bishop Ronald W. Gainer, in union with the Bishops of Pennsylvania, has dispensed the faithful of the Diocese of Harrisburg from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass. Despite the suspension of the obligation to attend Sunday Mass, all regularly scheduled masses will remain open to the public for those who wish to attend. Bishop Gainer made this move out of great concern for the health and well-being of the faithful, their families, our clergy and parish staff, given the current coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
